While travelling in Argentina founder Blake Mycoskie recognized a need for shoes amongst the locals. So he started his company – TOMS. As of 2012 Toms has given away over one million pairs of shoes in 40 countries.
But the giving does not stop there…in 2011, Toms began selling sunglasses.
Toms’ One for One program allows each customer to make a lasting positive change after every purchase by donating prescription lenses, eye surgery or medical treatment to someone in need.
